Day 7 - TOP 3 DISHES IN ATENEO

1. Buffalo Chicken Tenders Locked and Loaded, JSEC

I do not like eating rice meals in Ateneo, except for this particular dish. Discovered it through Tet (and her uncontrollable curiosity for food). 

2. Couch Potato Fries City Buns, JSEC

This is heaven’s gift to college students who are neither hungry nor full but need to pass the time while waiting for their Philosophy class at 6pm. Nic, Pete, Jek, Bernice (sometimes Tet) and I consume an average of two platters every Tuesday and Thursday. It’s sulit because for only P30 pesos, you get a serving of hot fries smothered in powdered cheese good for three people. 

3. Sloppy Fries City Buns, JSEC

When the stall runs out of powdered cheese, we get the next best thing: fries swimming in melted cheese, topped with bacon bits. City Buns is so generous with their melted cheese that, sometimes, you have to dig your fingers through it to get your fries. It’s that messy and good. Haha.

These are my recent favorites, but if you asked me this question two/three years ago, I might only have two answers: Waffle Time’s American Hotdog and Belgian Chocolate. Haha. But I’ll miss eating these three the most. Because I know that even if I can always go back to Ateneo and buy five platters for myself, the experience won’t be the same without the company I shared these with.
